About the film:

The many faces of the immigrant experience, feminism and the American Dream meet in New York as Elly, a Mexican girl striving for Broadway, must confront the realities of survival in the city while working for her strict Chinese boss Mrs. Chen. Where do ambition and practicality collide, and what does it mean to be a dreamer?
